Role Description The Paralegal will provide legal and administrative support to lawyers across a range of matters, including drafting and preparing legal documents, organizing case files, and assisting with client communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness, managing deadlines, and coordinating with courts and other stakeholders. The role also involves preparing correspondence, maintaining accurate records in practice management systems, and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations.

This is a part-time, on-site role based in the Greater Melbourne Area,



with work performed in the firm’s Werribee office

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, with knowledge of legal procedures and court processes.
- Experience in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing legal forms and correspondence.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties in a clear and skilled manner.
- Proficiency in Research and Document Review to analyze legal issues, verify information, and ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or paralegal certification is preferred.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
- Competence with standard office software and legal practice management systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and maintain confidentiality in all matters.
