- Panel Beater with 2 + YEARS
- Light to heavy vehicle experience
- Working with trucks and buses is desirable
- Must have Australian working rights and provide supporting documents
Tasks & responsibilities
- Good time management skills
- All aspects of Panel Beating with some painting as required
- Self motivated and team player
- Ability to be able to teach trainees
- Read drawings and update daily tasks spreadsheets
- Cut and join replacement sections or damaged panels
- Fill dents with plastic fillers and file, grind and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools
- Fit the repaired panel on the framework of the vehicle and re-fit body hardware such as door locks and door trims
- Experience in all aspects of preparing panels for paint
“Applicants should have formal qualifications and at least 2 years of relevant employment experience or, in the absence of formal qualifications, have at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.” Pay: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour
