The Role As Park Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of The Black Dolphin Motel and Holiday Park. You will lead and develop the team, drive guest satisfaction, optimise occupancy and revenue, manage costs, and ensure the park consistently meets safety,



compliance and presentation standards. This is a practical, on-site leadership role suited to someone who is comfortable balancing people leadership, commercial performance and hands-on operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the team: Build a positive, accountable culture and support employees to deliver warm, efficient service.
- Manage park operations: Oversee accommodation, grounds, maintenance and guest-facing activities to ensure the park is safe, clean and well presented.
- Drive guest satisfaction: Create a welcoming workplace, resolve concerns professionally and maintain consistently high service standards.
- Optimise occupancy and revenue: Manage booking inventory, apply pricing and booking policies, and identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Control costs: Manage rosters, budgets, purchasing and stock levels with a proactive commercial approach.
- Maintain compliance: Ensure health, safety, environmental and operational requirements are met, including completion of regular compliance checks.
- Support sustainability: Champion practical waste reduction, recycling and resource-management initiatives.
- Partner with senior leadership: Provide clear reporting, follow company policies and align park operations with broader business goals.

About You

- You are a proactive, self-motivated leader who takes ownership and follows through on commitments.
- You have strong people leadership skills and can build an engaged,



service-focused team.
- You bring sound commercial judgement and understand occupancy, revenue, rostering and cost control.
- You are confident managing grounds, maintenance, booking systems, stock and compliance requirements.
- You communicate clearly, collaborate well with senior leaders and work effectively within established policies.
- You are committed to high presentation standards, exceptional guest experiences and sustainable park operations.

Skills and Experience

- Previous management experience in holiday parks, accommodation, hospitality, tourism or a similarly operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and delivering strong customer service outcomes.
- Working knowledge of booking systems, compliance, rostering, budgets and stock control.
- Practical capability in coordinating grounds and maintenance activities.
- Current National Police Check and First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain them.
