About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paralegal to join our friendly team on a permanent Casual basis, with the opportunity to progress to part time. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our Principal Solicitor.

Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

- Delivering thorough administrative assistance, including drafting correspondence, managing client files, and client invoicing.

- Drafting legal documents such as Family Law Initiating Applications and Responses, Financial Statements, Case Outlines, Subpoenas and Affidavits.

- Coordinating appointments and communicating with clients in a professional and timely manner.

- Maintaining and organizing both electronic and physical filing systems.





- Performing general office tasks such as photocopying, answering phone calls, and responding to enquiries.

About You The successful candidate will have a solid work ethic and possess excellent communication skills.

Australian citizenship is required for this position.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have at least two (2) years' experience working in Family Law (essential)

- Possess strong organizational skills.

- Be proactive and resourceful, having the ability to work autonomously.

- Be detail-oriented and produce work of a consistently high standard.

- Be well presented and professional.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.

- Be available to work at least three (3) days of the week (ideally including Monday), working hours 9am - 5pm.

- Be located locally and able to travel to work.

Renumeration will be commensurate with experience.
