We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our small boutique law firm in Moonah, on a part-time basis.

The role provides support to two solicitors within the firm, as well as some receptionist duties, general practice administration tasks and document management. The role is part-time, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9.00am to 4.00pm.

You will be joining a busy fast-paced practice, where attention to detail, client service and managing competing priorities is essential.

The position requires you to work closely with the solicitors and other staff members of the firm. You will provide administrative and practice support, including:

- Preparing, formatting and managing correspondence, documents and matter administration to a high standard

- Monitoring deadlines and follow-up action on matters to maintain practice efficiency

- Reception role of incoming calls, mail,



and client communications

- Working collaboratively with other legal assistants in fulfilling practice tasks

You will need to demonstrate the following:
- Attention to detail in carrying out tasks

- Calm, organised and pragmatic approach with solid organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

- Extensive experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with clients

- Excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation
