Eden Pasticceria is seeking a skilled and motivated Pastrycook to join our team on a full-time basis at our Five Dock location.
Position Details
- Full time: 38 hours per week
- Salary: $79,500 per annum + 12% superannuation
- Location: Five Dock, NSW
- Work arrangement: In person
- Position available for a minimum of 2 years, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and business needs
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake and finish a variety of pastries, cakes, biscuits, buns and other pastry products
- Prepare doughs, fillings, creams and other pastry components
- Follow recipes, production requirements and presentation standards
- Ensure consistency, quality and appropriate presentation of all products
- Monitor oven temperatures, baking times and production processes
- Check the quality of ingredients and finished products
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen,
equipment and baking areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace standards
- Assist with stock control, inventory management and ordering of ingredients
- Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen and production team
Requirements
- Relevant qualification, such as Certificate III or IV in Patisserie, or equivalent
- At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of pastry preparation and baking techniques
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality and consistency
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
