About our client:

Randstad is pleased to be partnering with a manufacturing business based in Redbank in the Ipswich area. They are seeking a Payroll Officer with New Zealand payroll experience to join their team on a 3-4 month initial temporary basis, with the view for permanency.

- Work alongside a supportive and tenured Payroll Manager
- Hybrid working arrangements, 2 days WFH after training
- Competitive hourly rates on offer, to be determined by experience level

About the role: Reporting into the Payroll Manager, your primary responsibility will be processing New Zealand pays on a weekly and monthly basis, while assisting with Australian payroll processing. Your duties will include:

- Processing end-to-end payroll across NZ and AU operations
- Updating and maintaining accurate employee records
- Reconciliation, audit checks, and resolving data discrepancies Interpreting relevant legislation, awards, agreements, and contracts




- Preparing and lodging statutory returns and superannuation/tax disbursements Handling inquiries and resolving payroll-related issues promptly

About you:

- 2+ years experience in a payroll position
- Experience with Recent Zealand payroll processing (essential)
- Knowledge of awards, agreements, and payroll legislation
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
