GM3 is inviting expressions of interest from experienced mining professionals for potential roles at Tahmoor Mine following the proposed recommencement of operations.

We are excited about the opportunity to support the next chapter of Tahmoor Mine and are looking for experienced people who would like to help build a safe, productive and sustainable operation.

Successful candidates for these roles will be employed by GM3 and are expected to be based at Tahmoor Mine following completion of the proposed acquisition.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the recommencement of a mine with a proud history, help rebuild operational capability and be part of a strong and experienced mining team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is central to delivering accurate, compliant payroll for a large operational workforce. You will manage the full weekly payroll cycle, ensuring time and attendance data is correct, systems are aligned and employees are paid accurately and on time. Working within Human Resources, you will build strong relationships across sites and functions to resolve issues and support smooth payroll operations.

This role is based at Tahmoor Mine, located in the Southern Highlands of NSW, approximately 80 kilometres south-west of Sydney and within easy commuting distance of Wollongong, the Macarthur region and surrounding communities.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

- Validate and input timesheets, leave and additional hours data




- Respond to payroll and T&A; queries with timely resolutions
- Produce payroll and attendance reports for stakeholders
- Reconcile and process statutory payroll payments
- Investigate system issues and support testing of solutions

ABOUT YOU You are detail-focused, organised and confident working with complex data. You take ownership of outcomes, communicate clearly with stakeholders and remain calm when working to strict deadlines.

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Processing payroll in a fast-paced or high-volume environment
- Interpreting awards or industrial instruments for payroll compliance
- Analysing data to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Providing responsive internal customer support

Qualifications, skills, and competencies:
- Relevant qualification in Payroll, Human Resources or related field
- Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
- Experience using payroll/HRIS systems (SAP highly regarded)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data handling
