About the role The Payroll Officer is a specialist role supporting the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services. Working within a collaborative team, the role assists roster managers to ensure employees are paid in line with awards, enterprise agreements, and legislation.

The role requires strong technical proficiency, ensures data integrity and compliance, and delivers responsive, customer-focused service. It also contributes to continuous improvement and supports efficient payroll operations, enabling high-quality health service delivery.

About you To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Experience in end-to-end payroll processing within a large or complex organisation
- Understanding of Enterprise Agreements, Taxation and Superannuation
- Experience using HR Information Systems (rostering and payroll)




- Ability to use Microsoft 365 suite applications
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
