Casual HC Drivers – Mackay (Paget)

We’re looking for experienced HC Drivers to join our Mackay operation on a casual basis, supporting our pick-up and delivery requirements across the region.

A range of day, afternoon and night shifts may be available, including weekday and weekend work depending on operational requirements.

What’s The Role:

- Safely operate an HC vehicle to complete daily pick-up and delivery runs

- Deliver freight on time and without damage

- Load, unload and secure freight

- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report defects

- Follow road transport legislation, fatigue management and company procedures

- Complete delivery documentation and electronic records

- Provide qualified customer service

- Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle

- Work with the operations team to deliver excellent service

What You’ll Bring:

- Current Heavy Combination (HC) Licence

- Demonstrated experience in pick-up and delivery or general freight operations

- Safe driving record and strong commitment to safety and compliance

- Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and fatigue management requirements

- Ability to safely load, unload and secure freight

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Confidence using electronic proof of delivery and transport system

- A reliable, professional attitude with a strong work ethic

- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
