As a Senior Assessment Advisor, you will specifically: * Conduct high level, complex assessments, preliminary enquiries and reviews in relation to allegations of reportable conduct as defined under the Child Protected Organisations Act 2024. * Identify and prepare referrals, reports and documents necessary to comply with statutory reporting requirements to the regulatory body, Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) and law enforcement agencies, under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024. * Interpret and apply legislative and other regulatory provisions relevant to the assessment of complaints involving allegations of reportable conduct. * Provide advice, support and guidance to internal stakeholders on matters pertaining to the reportable conduct scheme to prevent harm to children and ensure compliance with the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024. * Contribute effectively to the achievement of team goals and improvements as a key member of the RCS Unit. * Be highly organised and agile to effectively manage competing priorities to meet legislated timeframes. * Foster and maintain effective partnerships and networks with internal and external stakeholders,



including the QFCC and law enforcement agencies, to share information and ensure compliance with statutory obligations. * Actively maintain RCS Unit records and cases using the case management system and other relevant systems. * Follow defined service quality standards, occupation health and safety policies and procedures relating to work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. * Maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to demonstrate continuing high level RCS assessments by actively participating in professional development opportunities as part of performance and development plans. * Demonstrate cultural capability and/or a commitment to developing cultural capability to ensure an inclusive culture that aligns with the Human Rights Act 2019 and supports departmental programs and community partnerships aimed at preserving cultural connections for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. * Managing other projects and tasks as required.
