About the Role
In this role, you will build the capability of teachers and support staff through coaching, mentoring, professional learning, and collaborative problem-solving. You will provide expert advice on inclusive practices, reasonable adjustments, personalised learning, and evidence-based interventions to ensure high-quality teaching and learning for all students.
You will establish and maintain productive partnerships with students, families, regional staff, allied health professionals, and external agencies to develop and implement effective support plans that respond to individual student needs. Your ability to communicate with empathy, clarity, and professionalism will foster solid relationships and promote shared responsibility for student success.
As a member of the school's leadership team,



you will contribute to strategic planning, school improvement initiatives, and a positive, inclusive culture. You will use data to inform decision-making, monitor student outcomes, and lead continuous improvement aligned with the Department of Education's commitment to equity, excellence, and inclusion.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: * A strong commitment to inclusive education and improving outcomes for students with disability and additional learning needs. * Proven ability to build the capability of teachers and support staff through instructional leadership, coaching, and mentoring. * Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build authentic partnerships with families, staff, and external agencies. * The ability to lead collaborative teams, manage complex case coordination, and support evidence-informed decision-making. * A commitment to fostering a culture of belonging, high expectations, and continuous improvement as part of a collaborative leadership team.
