This isn't your traditional desk-based PA position. Some days you might be helping with music school admin, following up a supplier or coordinating something for the recent music school renovation. Other days you might pick up groceries, put on a load of washing, do some light meal prep or collect our daughter from kindy. Most days will probably be a bit of both.
Key responsibilities
- General school administration and business support
- Organisation, planning and follow-ups
- Helping coordinate trades, suppliers and deliveries for the new music school renovation
- Running occasional errands and grocery pickups
- Laundry and light meal preparation
- Kindy pickup
- Helping keep on top of the many little things that come with running a business and a family
About you
- Highly organised and reliable
- A great communicator
- Practical and happy to jump between very different tasks
- Confident working independently
- Comfortable communicating with trades, suppliers, teachers and families
- Comfortable with everyday technology and administration
- Trustworthy and respectful of the privacy that comes with working closely with a family
- Someone who genuinely enjoys getting things organised and taking things off people's plates
- A current driver's licence is required due to errands and kindy pickup
- Previous PA or EA experience would be great, but experience in administration, office management, operations, events or another role where you've had to keep lots of moving pieces organised could be just as valuable
