About the role

We are seeking another enthusiastic and dedicated Personal Trainer to join the team at Within Reach Fitness in Doreen, VIC. This is a contract position that offers the flexibility to work with our diverse clientele in a dynamic fitness setting from our boutique studio and from our second location. As a Personal Trainer, you will play a crucial role in helping our members achieve their health and fitness goals whilst creating an engaging and motivating atmosphere.

Your expertise and passion for fitness will directly contribute to the success and reputation of Within Reach Fitness.

What you'll be doing

- What you enjoy the most - Design and deliver personalised training programmes tailored to individual client needs and objectives. No sales.
- Provide one-on-one and small group training sessions using proper exercise techniques and form correction
- Monitor and track client progress, adjusting programmes as needed to ensure continued improvement and motivation
- Guide clients on nutrition, lifestyle habits and recovery strategies to complement their training
- Build strong client relationships through excellent customer service and consistent support
- Promote Within Reach Fitness services and assist with member retention initiatives
- Stay current with fitness trends, industry best practices and health and safety standards

What we're looking for

- Current personal training certification from a recognised fitness organisation
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain before commencement
- Current personal indemnity and professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain before commencement
- Demonstrated knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, physiology and programme design
- Proven ability to motivate and inspire clients from diverse backgrounds and fitness levels
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex fitness concepts in an accessible way




- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals
- Reliability and professionalism with a strong work ethic
- Preferred experience working in a gym or fitness facility environment
- Preferred experience with various training modalities including strength training, cardio, flexibility and functional fitness
- Preferred knowledge of nutrition principles and ability to provide general wellness guidance
