About the Role

As the Sales 2IC at Camera House Perth, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service and expertise to our customers, helping them find the perfect solutions for their photography and printing needs.

This is a perfect opportunity for a first appointment into supervision. We are looking for a hands-on person who can help the Store manager whilst leading from the shop floor. If you are looking to support a small team of people who have a shared passion for photography and customer satisfaction, then Camera House should be your next move.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store, ensuring a high standard of customer service, presentation, and operational excellence

- Lead by example on the shop floor, actively engaging customers and driving sales through exceptional product knowledge and service.

- Assist in achieving store sales targets,



key performance indicators, and profitability objectives through proactive selling and team support.

- Identify ways to help coach, mentor, and develop team members to build capability, confidence, and product expertise.

- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance development of team members when required

- Oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily administration.

- Foster a positive, collaborative team culture that reflects Camera House values of Community, Consistency, and Unity.

What We’re Looking For:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to our customers.

· Minimum 2 years sales experience in specialty retailing or consumer electronics

· A passion for photography and familiarity with various types of camera equipment and a desire to showcase your passion for being best in class.

· Thrive on solving problems, whilst drawing from your retail and customer service skills.

· Strong sales and customer service aptitude

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Must be available to work a rotating roster covering some weekends
