Company Description Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is a 187 bed acute medical and advanced surgical hospital situated on the Pacific Highway at Gateshead, 15 kms south of the Newcastle CBD. The Hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care.

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our dynamic healthcare team on a casual basis. In this role, you will deliver high-quality physiotherapy services across multiple clinical settings, including orthopaedics, medical and general surgical wards. Opportunity also available to work in intensive care, cardiothoracic and oncology settings.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Your exceptional communication skills and empathetic approach will enable you to build strong rapport with patients and colleagues alike, ensuring a customer-focused service that aligns with our organisational values.

Essential Criteria

- Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration




- Demonstrated ability to apply advanced clinical reasoning and sound judgment in complex decision-making scenarios
- Proven capacity to devise, implement, and evaluate evidence-based assessment and treatment protocols
- Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise caseload efficiently
- Regular weekday and weekend availability considered desirable
- Experience working in acute hospital setting considered desirable

Remuneration $38.26 - $61.61

- superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Additional Information

- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
