About the Role: As an Occupattion Therapist, you will report to the Care Services Manager. We are looking for a compassionate and qualified candidate who is dedicated to improving the lives of our clients. This is a casual role.
Location: Perth, WA 6000 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities: Support therapists in delivering rehabilitation and therapy programs Assist residents with exercise routines and mobility support Set up and maintain therapy equipment safely Record and report progress to the supervising therapist HEALTH AND SAFETY: Comply with all Work Health and Safety legislation requirements
Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe working workplace
Report any hazards or incidents immediately to management QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Certificate III/IV in Allied health Assistance
Previous experience in aged care, disability, rehabilitation or community settings is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Good clinical reasoning, assessment and problem-solving skills.
Ability to complete clear and accurate clinical documentation.
Current Australian working rights.
Current First Aid certificate
Valid National Police Clearance
Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
