- Temporary (Up to 9/07/2027) full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity
- NSW Office location based in Parramatta with flexible working supported
- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $119,329 to $134,463 + super

In this role you Help shape the future of communities across NSW through planning projects that deliver homes, jobs and sustainable growth. Working closely with councils and stakeholders, you'll contribute to planning outcomes that make a real difference to where people live, work and connect.

You'll assess and make recommendations on local planning proposals, research and analyse complex planning matters, provide explicit advice, and help navigate competing priorities to achieve practical outcomes. This is an opportunity to turn ideas into action while supporting better communities for current and future generations.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of planning matters with a focus on the North and East of Greater Sydney.

About you

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, practical and audience-appropriate advice.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options and contribute to effective planning outcomes.




- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with councils, government agencies and diverse community stakeholders.
- Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work to tight timeframes and deliver quality outcomes in a dynamic setting.

Essential

- Degree qualification in Planning or related discipline
- Willingness to travel and Class C Driver Licence
