About the role:

We are looking for 2 reliable Plant Operators to join the teams at Wingfield and Inkerman on a casual/temporary basis. You’ll play an significant role in keeping waste moving safely and efficiently through the facility, using heavy earthmoving equipment to process, compact and manage waste.

Benefits:

- Competitive pay rates of $50.20p/h applicable penalties
- Flexible casual hours, 32 hours Monday to Friday at the Wingfield site between 4:45am - 4pm
- Inkerman site hours are 6am - 4pm Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities:

- Operate frontend loaders, landfill compactors, excavators and skid steers over 150 BHP (approx. 112kW, 20 tonnes)




- Direct drivers and members of the public to appropriate waste dumping locations
- Excavate and load dry waste including metal, wood and general rubbish
- Compact and cover waste in line with company and regulatory requirements
- Complete pre-starts and operate plant in accordance with safety procedures and training
- Maintain a clean and safe work area

Our ideal candidate will have:

- Current car licence
- Excavator or loader ticket
- Proven experience operating mobile plant
- Waste industry experience highly desirable
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
