Job Description

Our client is a world leader in the manufacturing of chemicals and scientific products. They employ thousands of people in R&D; facilities across the globe and are committed to developing innovations that will make a difference to our world. They are currently seeking a Project Engineer for a long-term casual role (with the view to permanency) in their manufacturing facility based in North West Sydney.

Duties include:

- Project planning, ensuring timely completion and to specification.
n
- Providing support to Project Managers.
n
- Travel to local and international sites to supervise the installation of equipment.
n
- Providing support and guidance to the company's distributors, OEM's and strategic partners.
n
- Reviewing project drawings and liaising with the design team.
n
- Selection of equipment components on suitability, price and availability.
n




- Preparation of bills of materials as directed.
n
- Preparation and issuing of specifications, analysing quotes and issuing purchase requisitions.
n
- Preparation of data for progress / contract reviews.
n

Ideally you will have:

n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
n
- A current passport and ability to travel locally and internationally at short notice.
n
- The ability to work under minimal supervision and be self-driven.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
