A newly created opportunity has become available for a Payroll Product Owner / Business Analyst to shape the future of the payroll platform as the business grows and evolves to meet changing legislative requirements and client needs.

About the Role

n

As the Product Owner, you will shape and deliver product enhancements across payroll, accounting and back-office capabilities. You will work closely with delivery, support and operational teams to translate regulatory requirements and customer needs into practical product outcomes.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Monitor and interpret changes to Australian payroll legislation and ATO compliance requirements.
n
- Drive compliance initiatives across Single Touch Payroll (STP), SuperStream, Payday Super and related reporting obligations.
n
- Translate legislative and business requirements into clear user stories and product enhancements.
n




- Own and prioritise the payroll compliance product backlog.
n
- Perform testing and quality assurance for new product releases.
n
- Develop knowledge articles, documentation and training materials to keep internal teams informed and empowered.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Payroll Systems Specialist.
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and ATO compliance.
n
- Hands-on experience with STP, SuperStream, Payday Super and payroll reporting requirements.
n
- A background in payroll, HR technology, fintech or bookkeeping will be highly regarded.
