High rise residential experience is ideal Our client is a construction head contractor and as a result of continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Site Manager or Foreman to join their team to work on a $150m+ medium-rise residential project amongst others. The candidate will ideally have some experience working on head contractor side on 8+ storey medium rise residential projects in the Gold Coast / Brisbane / Sunshine Coast market with local knowledge. They will also look at candidates without local experience too ideally looking with medium rise residential experience.

Responsibilities

- Site Supervision & Trade Coordination
n
- Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and site labour
n
- Planning daily works and ensuring tasks are completed to program
n
- Managing site activities to maintain productivity and workflow
n
- Coordinating deliveries, materials and plant on site
n
- Quality, Safety & Compliance
n
- Ensuring all works are delivered to required quality standards
n




- Enforcing WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices
n
- Conducting toolbox talks, safety inspections and pre-starts
n
- Identifying and resolving site issues in a proactive manner
n
- Program & Reporting Support
n
- Assisting with short-term programming and look-ahead schedules
n
- Reporting progress, issues and delays to the Site Manager
n
- Supporting defect management and quality inspections
n
- Assisting with project milestones through to completion
n

Qualifications and Requirements

n

n
- Trade background preferred
n
- Proven experience as a Supervisor/Foreman on residential and/or mixed-use projects
n
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site operations
n
- Ability to lead, motivate and manage subcontractors effectively
n
- Solid knowledge of Australian building standards and WHS requirements
n
- Strong communication and problem-solving skillsHands-on, organised and outcomes-focused approach
n
- Queensland construction experience ideal
n
