In this role, you'll:

Lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering the Point to Point Transport Commissioner's communications, engagement and education functions - bringing clarity, pace and sound judgement to complex issues.

You will bring together stakeholder engagement, industry education, internal communications, media and issues manegement to support safer outcomes across the sector.

Working closely with senior executives and teams across the Commission, you will turn complex information into transparent messages, practical guidance and effective engagement in response to isses, risks and priorities.

This is a fixed term opportunity up to 12 months, based at South Eveleigh. A mix of in-office and working from home arranegments are available (in line with Transport policy).

About you

You are a confident and credible people leader who can bring direction, energy and cohesion to a diverse team. You know how to set clear expectations, strengthen culture, lift capability and support people to deliver in a complex and fast-moving environment.

You will bring

- Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and bringing different functions together to deliver shared priorities.
- Extensive experience in communications, media, stakeholder engagement, education or issues management.
- Strong judgement in complex, high-profile or regulated environments.
- Confidence advising senior executives and influencing across an organisation.




- A collaborative and practical approach to working with government, industry, community and internal stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading the delivery and evaluation of communications, engagement and education plans, programs and initiatives.
