About the role
Our Resources team plays an important role in making sure our programs have everything they need to deliver amazing experiences for children.
We’re looking for 2 Casual Procurement & Logistics Assistants to join our team and help keep stock moving from our warehouse to TeamKids programs across Melbourne.
This is a hands-on, active role suited to someone who enjoys variety, working with a team and getting things done. You’ll be involved in everything from receiving deliveries and preparing orders, to loading the company van and delivering stock locally.
What you'll be doing
- Receiving and organising stock as it arrives from suppliers
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for TeamKids programs
- Loading and unloading stock
- Delivering orders to TeamKids sites in a company van
- Liaising with courier companies to coordinate deliveries and despatch
- Keeping the warehouse organised, tidy and running efficiently
- Helping with general warehouse tasks and manual handling as required
- Looking for ways to improve how we organise and move stock.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- A current Australian driver's licence
- The ability to safely undertake manual handling and physical warehouse tasks
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- A current Working with Children Check (Employee)
- A reliable and practical approach to your work
- Previous warehouse, logistics, delivery or stock experience is desirable but not essential
