This role supports the daily manufacturing on gummy, capsule, bottling and packaging lines; maintain uptime through accurate set‑ups, line clearance and sanitation; complete QA checks and batch records; and collaborate with technicians, QA and mixing to achieve plan. You may also be required to assist in the laboratory, mixing room, and QA/QC functions as operational needs arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Flex across production and mixing room.
- Operate, monitor and adjust production equipment (gummy depositor, cooker, capsule filler, bottling and pouch lines) to SOPs and production plans.
- Complete start‑up, in‑process and end‑of‑run checks (weights, counts, metal detection, vision/label checks, seal integrity).
- Execute changeovers, line clearance and sanitation; document via checklists and ensure allergen/colour/flavour segregation.
- Capture and enter production data (yields, downtime, rejects, parameters) accurately and on time.
- Assist with preventative maintenance, basic fault‑finding and escalation to the Machine Technician when required.
- Work with the Mixing Room to stage and verify ingredients and pre‑mixes; confirm IDs, batch numbers and quantities against batch sheets.
- Follow HACCP/GMP, WHS and hygiene standards; wear correct PPE; participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments.
- Support sampling, retains and lab drop‑offs; help prepare labelled samples for internal tastings and client reviews.
- Contribute to continuous improvement - identify causes of waste and downtime and suggest practical fixes.

Skills & Experience
- Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing preferred (gummy/capsule/confectionery a plus).
- Solid mechanical aptitude; comfortable with HMIs, basic settings, and following SOPs for set‑up and changeover.
- Understanding of in‑process QA (weights, Brix/pH checks, CCP/PCP logs) and batch documentation.
- Knowledge of HACCP/GMP and allergen control, or willingness to learn quickly.
Physically fit and safety‑minded; able to lift up to 15–20 kg and stand for extended periods; shift flexibility when required. Pay: $33.00 – $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
