An established Brisbane builder is seeking a Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a high-end residential development in Newstead.
The project comprises 3 basement levels and 11 storeys of premium apartments and has recently commenced construction, with completion scheduled for late 2028.
Working alongside an experienced Project Manager, Site Manager and commercial team, you’ll be involved from the early stages of the build and see the project right through to completion.
The Role As Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordination of subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- RFIs, design coordination and resolving construction issues
- Procurement and subcontractor package coordination
- Supporting programming and short-term planning
- QA, ITPs and project documentation
- Assisting the site and project teams to ensure programme, quality and safety targets are achieved
About You We are looking for someone with:
- Previous Project Engineer experience with a commercial or residential builder
- Experience on multi-storey apartment or complex commercial projects
- Strong technical and construction knowledge
- Relevant Construction Management, Engineering or Building qualification
- Good communication and subcontractor coordination skills
- A desire to take ownership and progress your career within a reputable builder
