Role Description This is a full-time Project Estimator role based in Sydney, NSW, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home.

The Project

Estimator will prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for roof access, height safety, and fall protection projects, using drawings, specifications, and site information. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing tender documents, conducting quantity take-offs, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing, and ensuring estimates align with company standards and compliance requirements. The role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers,



and the sales team to refine scopes of work, support bid submissions, and update budgets as projects progress.

The Project

Estimator will also contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes, maintain accurate records, and assist with reporting on project costs and margins.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess Project Estimation skills to interpret drawings, quantify materials, and prepare detailed proposals.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to work with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Experience in construction, engineering, or height safety industries, with familiarity with Australian building and safety standards, is beneficial.
- Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and basic project management tools is preferred.
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze data and identify risks are important.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field are advantageous.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage deadlines, and collaborate in a team-focused, safety-driven culture is expected.
