We're looking for an experienced Project Engineer to provide immediate engineering support on a bespoke Utilities Upgrade project in a live brownfield workplace.
This is not a role for someone who needs weeks to find their feet. We need someone who can walk onto site, understand what's happening, get stuck in and provide practical engineering support from day one.
What you'll be working on
- Sewer mains
- Pump stations
- Rising mains
- Brownfield utilities infrastructure
- Day-to-day project engineering and construction support
What we're looking for
You'll ideally have
- 5+ years post-graduate engineering experience
- Strong Water & Wastewater project experience
- Proven experience working in a brownfield environment
- Experience with sewer,
pump station and rising main projects
- Previous experience with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 contractor
- Experience working for contractors who self-perform their works
- Strong construction and delivery knowledge
- The ability to operate autonomously and make things happen
- A practical, hands-on approach rather than being purely office-based

You'll report directly to the Project Manager, who is working across multiple projects, so initiative, autonomy and the ability to hit the ground running are critical.
