Catalpa is growing — and we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to take the reins on two major transmission line construction projects situated in NSW and Canberra. If you've got dirt under your nails from tower assembly, erection, gantry works and stringing, and you're ready to lead from the front on some of the country's most critical energy infrastructure, this one's for you.

What you'll be doing

- Taking full delivery ownership of two concurrent transmission line construction projects
- Leading the assembly, erection and stringing of transmission towers and gantry structures, keeping crews protected, productive and on program.
- Owning the commercial side — budgets, forecasting, variance reporting and cost control on multi-million dollar contracts.
- Building strong relationships with clients, network owners, consultants and subcontractors, and representing Catalpa at the table.
- Championing a safety-first culture, particularly around electrical safety,



working at heights and plant/crane operations.
- Mentoring project engineers and site teams, and growing capability across the business as we scale.

What you'll bring

- Runs on the board managing transmission, energy, construction, A&E; or stringing projects — ideally on high-voltage overhead transmission line (OHTL) works.
- A qualification in Civil, Electrical or Structural Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent — or the runs on the board to match.
- PMP, AIPM or similar project management credentials highly regarded.
- Sharp commercial acumen and the confidence to manage multiple concurrent projects without missing a beat.
- The people skills to influence, negotiate and build trust with clients, network owners and your own crews alike.
