Program Analyst
3 month ongoing contract
$770 per day The Program Analyst provides support to the Delivery Office and Program Managers by delivering critical services that enable successful delivery of a portfolio of projects and programs. These support services covering analysis of program financials, procurement, schedules, risks issues and dependencies. The role is required to support multidisciplined team of project professionals to deliver project output to the success of portfolio initiatives.
The role also provides logistical support to Program Managers in preparation for meetings, workshops and project boards, ensuring programs and projects maintain a high standard of record keeping and information management.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Essential
- Proven experience working within a PMO context, at either program or portfolio office levels.
- Proven experience working within portfolio or program management settings that use Agile Delivery Teams.
- A strong understanding of portfolio, program and project delivery frameworks, including associated risk management and control frameworks.
- Solid attention to quality and detail, coupled with the necessary flexibility to navigate uncertainty.
- Strong analytical capability,
including the ability to synthesize complex information in order to identify solution options and promote resolutions to problems.
- Customer focused mentality and approach to service delivery.
- Capability to work with a variety of stakeholders that have different needs and objectives.
- Updating and maintaining the PPM tool.
- Supporting project financials and budgeting.
- Keeping project information, reporting and documentation current.
- Coordinating Steering Committees, including meetings, papers, actions and follow-ups.
- General Program/Project Analyst and PMO support across the two projects.
- Supporting governance, reporting, coordination and delivery activities across the portfolio.
Desirable
- Qualifications achieved in one or more change delivery frameworks including but not limited to in PMBoK, BABoK, Scrum, SAFe, Prince2, MSP, MoP.
- Experience with MS Project Server/Online, SharePoint Online and Office 365.
- Experience with Atlassian Tools.
- Relevant experience in financial services and the superannuation industry an advantage.
- Proven knowledge and understanding of the function of governance structures in a medium sized corporate environment.
