This boutique practice provides taxation and advisory services to a broad range of business and personal clients.

The firm is run by a down-to-earth and genuine Director who has several staff in-house as well as support from an offshore team. Having a young family himself, the Director wants the team to love what they do, but also enjoy their life outside of work.

The firms tech stack includes: XPM, FYI Docs , Business Fitness, ATO Mate and Now infinity . The Director is passionate about process improvement and embracing the latest in technology to ensure the smoothest outcomes for botht he team and clients.

They are now on the lookout for an experienced Accountant who can work across a diverse range of compliance work, enageg with clients, and assist with reviewing the work of junior staff.

Key duties of this role include:





- Preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns for a variety of tax entities e.g. Sole Traders, Companies, Trusts, Superfunds and Partnerships.
- State Taxes, Indirect Taxation and BAS return lodgement for clients and their business entities, including CGT, payroll tax, land tax, superannuation taxation, annual GST, FBT and PAYG.
- Managing client relationships and responding to their queries
- Communicating with the ATO
- Conducting tax planning and assisting with advisory work
- Collaborating with the wider accounting team to deliver exceptional client service

The ideal candidate will possess:

- CA/CPA qualification
- 3 + years experience in public practice dealing with a diverse range of clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong IT and systems skills and familiarity with Xero and XPM
