We are seeking a motivated Cabinet Making Apprentice to join our team based in Coolum. While a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice is preferred, we welcome applications from anyone with relevant joinery or trade experience, including those looking to commence their 1st year apprenticeship with the right skills, attitude, and commitment to the trade.

The Role

Working alongside experienced cabinet makers and joiners, you'll gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects while continuing to develop your technical skills and industry knowledge.

What You'll Be Doing

- Fabricating custom cabinetry and joinery components
- Working on residential and commercial fit-outs
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans and cutting lists
- Measuring, cutting, assembling and finishing cabinetry and joinery
- Operating workshop machinery including panel saws, edge banders and other woodworking equipment
- Assembling flat-pack and architectural joinery components
- Completing workshop fabrication and onsite installations
- Maintaining high-quality workmanship and premium finish standards
- Using a variety of tools, machinery and materials safely and efficiently
- Working collaboratively with a skilled and experienced trade team

This is a hands-on role that offers exposure to a wide variety of projects, providing an excellent opportunity to build confidence, refine your skills, and progress your career in cabinet making.

Essential Requirements

- Current apprentice or relevant experience in Cabinet Making, Joinery or a related trade
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport to our Coolum workshop
- White Card
- Ability to read plans and work from technical drawings
- Solid work ethic and willingness to learn
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, motivated and able to take initiative
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Genuine passion for cabinetry, joinery and quality craftsmanship
