Transcend Workforce is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a leading steel manufacturing and reinforcement workshop based in Sunshine North. You'll be operating cutting and bending machines in a fast-paced workplace.
Machine Operator - Steel Cutting & Bending n
n
- Operate heavy-duty, high-precision steel cutting and bending machines
n
- Use of gantry crane to safely move materials
n
- Load steel coils or bars into machines
n
- Monitor automatic feeding, cutting, and bending operations
n
- Conduct quality checks against bar schedules
n
About You nn
- Proven machine operation experience - essential
n
- Background in manufacturing or steel reinforcement
n
- Knowledge of rebar types and grades is a bonus!
n
- Forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential
n
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and police check
n
- Must have full Australian working rights
n
n
Experience from a heavy manufacturing environment is essential for this role.
