Sigma Rehab is looking for a passionate Child & Adolescent Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Berwick, Melbourne.
You will work with children, adolescents and families presenting with a range of developmental, emotional, behavioural and learning needs, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, school-related concerns and developmental disabilities.
The role can include a combination of:
- Individual psychology therapy
- Parent consultation and coaching
- Play-based and relationship-focused intervention
- Emotional regulation and anxiety support
- School consultation and collaboration
- Autism and ADHD assessments
- Cognitive and psychoeducational assessments
- Multidisciplinary collaboration with Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists
We are versatile in how the role is structured and are happy to build the caseload around your experience, strengths and clinical interests. We welcome full-time, part-time and contractor applicants.
Contractors are required to commit to a minimum of 2 days per week.
For employed clinicians, we aim to maintain a manageable caseload with approximately 25 billable clinical hours per week and generally no more than 5 clients per day, allowing appropriate time for documentation, collaboration, reports and professional development.
You will have strong administration support, established referral pathways and the opportunity to help shape Sigma Rehab’s new Psychology service from the beginning.
Applicants must hold AHPRA registration as a Psychologist. Experience working with children and neurodevelopmental presentations is highly regarded. Clinical Psychology or Educational & Developmental Psychology endorsement, and experience with autism, ADHD, cognitive or learning assessments, would be highly desirable but are not essential.
