About Us: Venetia Major - Bespoke Jewellery is a well-established, all-female jewellery studio in Hall, dedicated to creating unique and timeless pieces that resonate with our clients. We also offer a repair service upholding the highest standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Position: Manufacturing Jeweller

Location: Hall, Canberra

What You'll Do:

- Handmake bespoke jewellery pieces with exceptional attention to detail and quality.
- Jewellery repairs such as ring resizes, claw retipping, chain solders, polishing, rhodium plating etc. utilising the laser welder where appropriate.
- Clean up and assemble castings.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service, advising clients on jewellery repairs and care.
- Occasional bespoke design consultations.
- Open to taking on a teaching role for the hobby classes.

What We're Looking For:

- Qualified Manufacturing Jeweller with a minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified jeweller and proven experience in handcrafting and repairing fine jewellery.




- Trade Certificate III in Manufacturing Jewellery or equivalent qualification required.
- Strong technical skills in metalworking and polishing.
- Stone setting experience an advantage but not a necessity.
- Proficiency in using jewellery-making tools and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and interact with clients.

- To commence immediately
- Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship required for this position.
