Aletek is an Australian-owned manufacturer supplying the global mining and oil & gas industries. Our products keep heavy equipment safer, more reliable and more productive on sites across Australia, the Americas, Asia and Africa. We're growing, and we're building out our Quality team to grow with us.

What you'll be doing

- Inspecting incoming materials, in-process production and finished products against spec
- Using calipers, micrometers and gauges to verify tolerances
- Identifying, recording and reporting defects and deviations
- Keeping accurate inspection records, logs and calibration data for traceability
- Working alongside Production and Engineering to solve quality issues at the source
- Taking part in root cause analysis and driving continuous improvement — finding the fix, not just the fault

What we're looking for

- Genuine attention to detail and pride in your work
- A continuous improvement mindset — you don't accept "that's how we've always done it," you look for the better way and you speak up when you find it
- Experience in quality assurance,



inspection or a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 (or the appetite to learn them properly)
- Confidence with measuring tools, and solid computer skills for reporting
- A team-first attitude — the willingness to pick up the phone, ask the question, and get it sorted
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or a quality certification is a bonus, not a barrier
