Laing O’Rourke, with joint venture partner Amentum Australia, will play a central role in supporting Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) to develop and deliver the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard (NPSCY) project at Osborne, South Australia. We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our AUKUS team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage project budgets, cost planning, forecasting, cash flow and financial reporting.
- Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities to optimise project outcomes.
- Oversee change management, claims, extensions of time and commercial entitlements.
- Build and maintain strong client, stakeholder and supply chain relationships while influencing successful project delivery.
About you
- Attained or working towards obtaining MRICS.
- Minimum 4years’ post graduate experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Construction Management, Building, Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Microsoft software especially Excel.
- Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.
