Currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor looking to join our team in Newcastle.
The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for:
- Providing cost estimation for feasibility studies
- Preparing estimates of cost
- Providing budget and cashflows
- Provide post contract services including measurement, valuation and negotiation of variations, estimates of cost increase and advising on revised cost implications
- Advising on construction methods and techniques, procurement processes, contract types and contractors
- Formulating and implementing benchmarking processes
- Monitoring the design against budget
We are keen to hear from candidates with:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in either Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- A positive and proactive approach
- AIQS / RICS accredited candidates will be highly regarded
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a project team
- Excellent communication skills
- Eligibility to work in Australia unrestricted
