Manning Emergency Department is located on the beautiful Mid North Coast and proudly provides emergency care to the Taree, Forster, Old Bar, Harrington and surrounding communities.

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. Our multidisciplinary team includes Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Technical Assistants, Patient Experience Officers, medical staff and a range of other dedicated healthcare professionals, all working together to provide high-quality care and achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Join the Manning Emergency Department team and build your future in emergency nursing. Manning Emergency Department sees just under 39,000 patients each year, averaging approximately 106 presentations per day, across a diverse mix of adult and paediatric patients.

About The Role Manning Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 24 months’ acute nursing experience to join our team.

Our well-established fast-track model, supported by experienced Nurse Practitioners and our medical workforce, enables us to provide timely care to appropriate patients while supporting patient flow and improving the overall emergency department experience.

Essential About You

- Current Registered Nurse registration.
- Minimum 24 months’ acute nursing experience.
- A genuine commitment to safe, compassionate and high-quality patient care.
- A willingness to learn and develop within emergency nursing.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable But Not Essential

- Previous emergency department experience.
- Experience using the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR).

SDPR experience is welcomed but not essential. We recognise that systems and workflows can be learned, and we are committed to providing the training, education and support you need to become confident in using SDPR.
