Troocoo Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Nurse Grade 5 for a short-term contract prospect in Moura, Queensland.
This role would suit a confident RN with rural nursing and emergency experience who is comfortable working across a broad range of presentations in a regional setting.
The Role
- Location: Moura, QLD
- Contract: 28 September – 25 October 2026
- Classification: RN Nurse Grade 5
- Base rate: $59.05 – $73.60 per hour
- Hours: 80 hours per fortnight
- Roster: Day and night shifts, Monday to Sunday
- On-call: Yes
Skills & Experience Experience in the following areas is highly relevant:
- Emergency nursing
- Rural nursing
- Triage
- Resuscitation
- Medical nursing
- Surgical nursing
- IV cannulation
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
About You To be considered for this contract, you will need:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Recent clinical nursing experience
- Strong emergency and/or rural nursing experience
- Current ALS and PALS competencies
- Confidence with triage,
resuscitation and IV cannulation
- Ability to work across day and night shifts
- Availability for the full contract period
- Ability to participate in on-call arrangements
Travel & Accommodation Shared accommodation is provided, subject to availability. Travel assistance: $200 incl. GST each way for travel at the commencement and completion of the contract, with applicable approval and receipt requirements.
