St John Health operates primary health clinics across the metro area located in Armadale/Kelmscott, Midland, Cockburn, Cannington, Joondalup and Osborne Park. These facilities are state of the art and offer a range of combined health solutions including GP, Urgent Care and Dental, along with allied services and x-ray/imaging facilities.

The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse with a passion for delivering patient-centred clinical care in a primary health care environment, with a strong commitment to improving health outcomes. The ideal candidate will be available for a Fixed Term 6-month contract to cover the hours below in our Armadale clinic:

- Week 1 and Week 2

Tuesdays: 9:00-18:00, 8.5hrs

Wednesdays: 9:00-18:00, 8.5hrs or 8:00-16:00, 7.5hrs

Thursdays: 9:00-18:00, 8.5hrs

Fridays: 8:00-18:00, 9.5hrs

Key responsibilities:

- Performing ECG, Spirometry and Ankle Brachial Index as appropriate
- Treatment room duties
- Immunisations
- Wound care
- Iron Infusions
- Focusing on preventative health strategies to help reduce lifestyle risk factors
- Performing health assessments and chronic disease management
- Maintaining and developing new working relationships with independent and interdependent members of the medical,



nursing and allied health professionals to value add to our patient's health journey

To be successful you will have:

- Registered or Enrolled nurse with current AHPRA registration
- At least 12 months experience working in a GP Practice
- Current CPR certificate - essential
- Current Immunisation Certificate - essential
- Highly organised with the ability to take responsibility for and manage own workload
- Chronic Disease Management experience highly desirable
- Knowledge of Best Practice software highly desirable
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Police Clearance (no more than 3 months old)
