About the Role

Join the 24-Bed Inpatient Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit as a Rehabilitation Support Worker and help consumers build skills, independence and confidence for life in the community. You’ll provide practical, recovery-focused support while working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team.

- Support consumers with daily tasks and individual recovery goals
- Build independence, life skills and community connections
- Deliver practical psychosocial rehabilitation support
- Work with clinical teams to support individual care plans
- Partner with families, carers and community service providers
- Adapt support to each consumer’s needs, strengths and capacity

About You

You’re a collaborative and compassionate support worker who understands recovery-focused mental health care and can build respectful relationships with consumers, families and services.

To be successful in this role you will:





- Hold or be completing a Certificate IV in Mental Health
- Or study an undergraduate course in a relevant health discipline
- Bring experience supporting mental health consumers and recovery
- Communicate effectively with consumers, teams and stakeholders
- Show initiative, teamwork and sound computer and data entry skills
