- Base Salary: $74,139 - $80,320 (p.a.)

- Total Effective Package: $93,505 - $100,491 (p.a.)*
- Part-Time, Maximum Term Contract

About the role The Research Assistant assists the Congress Research team to engage the community in research activities. This position has a particular focus on recruiting participants and collecting research data, as well as supporting the research team with other tasks as needed.

To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following essential requirements:

- Be of Aboriginal descent; identify as an Aboriginal person; and are accepted as an Aboriginal person by the Aboriginal community
- Certificate-level qualification (or working towards) in a relevant discipline (e.g. health science, community service, social science or public health) or relevant experience
- Demonstrated work or voluntary experience in a relevant field
- Willingness to learn research skills, including the ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with other ethical requirements
- General computer literacy, including basic typing, email and word processing skills
- Willingness,



ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations and to safely move boxes up to 16kg weight
