The Reward Specialist is responsible for supporting the delivery of reward programs across remuneration, benefits and recognition for Vocus Group. The role provides reward advice, analysis and program support to HR Business Partners, business leaders and relevant external stakeholders to enable consistent, commercially balanced and well-governed reward outcomes that support attraction, retention and employee engagement.
The role will focus on supporting a large benchmarking project including reviewing and defining the remuneration benchmarking structure and helping build our new job architecture. This is a great opportunity to come in and make a significant impact on a key Vocus project.
Additional Key Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise across reward programs, including remuneration, benefits, recognition, market benchmarking and incentive programs
- Support salary benchmarking exercises using external market data, salary survey data and internal remuneration analysis
- Maintain salary frameworks, job evaluation processes, position classification guidelines and reward governance practices
- Support annual salary review activities, compensation recommendations,
pay equity analysis and reward reporting
- Partner with leaders, managers and People & Culture team to deliver effective, commercially balanced reward outcomes
- Lead and enhance employee benefits programs across Vocus Group.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in remuneration, reward, compensation, or HR analytics
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills; HRIS experience is highly regarded
- Knowledge of Australian remuneration practices and market benchmarking
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, Finance, or a related discipline are desirable.
