About the Role:
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Retail Shop Assistant to join our high-performing team at our Penrith store. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday and some Saturdays. You will support our Senior Sales Team by providing friendly customer service and helping keep the store clean, organised and well presented.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting customers and processing sales through the POS system
- Answering phone enquiries and assisting with customer questions
- Merchandising and replenishing stock
- Packing and unpacking deliveries
- General cleaning and maintaining store presentation
About You:
- Positive attitude and friendly communication skills
- Reliable, organised and great attention to detail
- Motivated and eager to learn new skills
- Previous customer service or retail experience
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Willing to learn and contribute to a positive team workplace
Essential Requirements:
- Available to work Mon – Fri and some Saturdays
- Basic to intermediate computer skills essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
