Job Description
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- - Reconciling statutory financial statements and audit adjustments to monthly management reporting
- Supporting the migration of financial data from one system to another (Oracle)
- Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and validating system data uploads
- Enhancing the finance control framework and reporting governance
- Ad hoc project accounting work as requested by SLT
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies across systems, reports, and underlying financial data
- Driving improvements in data accuracy, integrity, and reporting quality to support Executive and Board-level decision-making
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have/be:
- CA/CPA
- Audit background highly regarded
- A solid background in accounting and finance within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Proven ability to manage financial operations and reporting processes effectively.
- Experience working in an organisation experiencing transformation (ERP upgrade, implementation, business separation, acquisitions etc.)
- Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
