About the Company
This is a well-established civil infrastructure contractor delivering major projects across NSW. With a strong pipeline of secured work and a highly experienced project team, they are currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to provide immediate support on a major renewables project in regional NSW.

About the Role
As the Health and Safety Advisor, you will step into an immediate contract requirement supporting a major regional infrastructure project. The role is based out of Sydney’s Inner West, with travel to site approximately once every two weeks for several days at a time (accommodation and vehicle provided).
You will work closely with operational and project teams to maintain continuity of WHS systems, provide hands-on site support, and ensure compliance across active works.
This role suits someone who can hit the ground running in a contractor-led civil environment and is comfortable operating in a practical, site-based safety role.

Duties

- Providing day-to-day WHS support across active civil construction works
- Conducting site inspections, audits,



and safety observations
- Supporting incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
- Reviewing SWMS and supporting risk management processes
- Engaging directly with supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams
- Ensuring compliance with legislative and project WHS requirements
- Supporting practical, on-the-ground safety outcomes in a rapid-paced environment

Key Requirements

- Strong background in civil construction or infrastructure projects
- Previous experience in a site-based Health and Safety role with contractors
- CertIV in WHS as a minimum
- Ability to operate autonomously and adapt quickly to site requirements
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and practical application
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Available for an immediate start
