We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a leading residential builder delivering high-quality Class 2 apartment developments across Sydney.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of work, taking ownership of the engineering function on a landmark residential project. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors, driving programme outcomes, and ensuring commercial and technical objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the engineering function from project commencement through to completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure programme milestones are achieved
- Review drawings, manage RFIs, and resolve technical construction issues
- Oversee QA, ITPs, inspections, and project documentation
- Assist with procurement, subcontractor management, and cost control
- Monitor project programme and identify opportunities to improve delivery
- Mentor and support Site Engineers and Graduate Engineers
- Ensure compliance with WHS, quality, and environmental standards

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer or experienced Project Engineer delivering Class 2 residential or mixed-use developments




- Demonstrated experience on projects valued at $50M+
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, and project delivery
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts while maintaining programme and quality objectives
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
