Pathways, Evidence and Partnerships
The Pathways, Evidence and Partnerships Directorate provides statewide oversight of referral pathways, data, evidence and commissioned service partnerships across the Child and Family Support System. We ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time through referral systems, strong sector relationships and high-quality evidence, as well as generating research and insights to inform policy, strengthen practice and drive continuous improvement.

Role Details
The Child and Family Safety Network Coordinator is a role within Child and Family Support and is accountable to the Supervisor, Child and Family Safety Network for:
• building strong networks with key service providers and consulting with relevant staff across the Department of Human Services (DHS), Department for Education (DfE), Department for Child Protection (DCP), SA Health, Child and Family Health Services (CaFHS), South Australian Housing Trust (SAHT), South Australia Police (SAPOL), Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs)
• promoting and developing strong partnerships within key government and non-government support,
servicing families in their region to identify and implement responses to mitigate child protection risk for vulnerable children and their families
• coordinating regular meetings to provide an prospect for local agency partners to contribute to the overall planning for families where risk has been identified and to agree upon a lead agency to provide a case management role for the family through a process that will help to facilitate the coordination of the most appropriate services and to ensure that intervention can commence at the earliest possible time.

Must hold a current Australian issued driver's licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
Must comply with any order, direction, policy or procedure of the Chief Executive or delegate to receive vaccinations.
Essential Qualifications
Incumbent should hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers; or an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Psychology Board of Australia; or Persons of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, who have the appropriate background and skills but do not have the essential qualification, may apply for and be engaged/assigned to the role of Social Worker and will be entitled to apply for any Allied Health Professional roles requiring a qualification in Social Work within the Department of Human Services.
