The Opportunity:
This position sits at the heart of the sales and operations function, ensuring orders are coordinated seamlessly from initial purchase through to final delivery. This role would suit a highly organised professional who enjoys managing multiple moving parts, building solid stakeholder relationships, and delivering outstanding customer outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full sales coordination process from order placement through to delivery and invoicing.
- Raising and managing purchase orders for suppliers and service providers.
- Coordinating transport, vehicle movements and delivery schedules.
- Monitoring order progress, forecasting delivery timelines and maintaining accurate tracking systems.
- Processing invoicing, costing adjustments and supporting financial reconciliations.
- Liaising with internal teams,
suppliers and customers to provide updates and manage expectations.
- Identifying potential delivery risks and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and broader administrative projects.
About You:
- Previous experience in sales administration, sales coordination, logistics, scheduling or customer service.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate work.
- The ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A customer-focused mindset and a collaborative approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience within transport, logistics, manufacturing, fleet, automotive or a similar operational environment will be highly regarded.
